George Holman’s 104 is the 6th Dhipirri Metrey of Season 2023

George Holman from Sydney delivers the 6th Dhipirri Metrey caught by our guests in 2023!

Welcome to the Metre Club George!

Fishing with Dhipirri Guide Jay Pascall, George’s 104cm Dhipirri Barra was caught in the Milingimbi Islands, and Jay said:

“This Dhipirri Barra went hard. We’d hooked up to a bunch of other good fish on the boat at this spot, but they’d always find a way to get tangled in the snags.

But George was determined to get this one in and a dollar oh four is awesome, and luckily this was the only one that didn’t escape. What a fish hey.”

George said of the experience:

“What a super exciting experience to catch a Metrey at Dhipirri, it definitely exceeded my expectations.

The guides were fantastic, I couldn’t recommend Dhipirri more highly to anyone thinking of doing it.”

Here are some more photos and a video of the Metrey on the boat.
