We at Dhipirri Barra and Sportfishing Lodge in Arnhem Land are always on the lookout for talented and motivated individuals to form an integral part of our team. We are also open to couples seeking a sea-change in a remarkable part of Australia.
With the 2023 season complete, we are open to all enquiries for the 2024 season as we will have various positions open from February/March.
We look for those that have exceptional skills, are passionate about what they do, and those who are willing to go beyond what is normally expected, to give our guests the experience of a lifetime in Australia’s Northern Territory.
The ability to work productively within a small, close-knit team and able to live onsite in a remote location is essential.
In return you will be rewarded with an attractive salary, with accommodation and meals supplied. You will also have the rare opportunity to live and work in one of the most beautiful and interesting locations in Australia.
Employment is seasonal as the Lodge is generally open between late February and early December each year.
Ultimately, we look for those who are prepared to commit for the full season (or longer) but shorter-term positions can be negotiated, and are also available as relief for staff on leave.
Our Lodge Team in Arnhem Land consists of the following:
- Operations Manager
- Front of House Hostess
- Qualified Chef
- Fishing Tour Guides (generally 5)
- Housekeeper
- Grounds and Maintenance person
We also have an office in Darwin for a small administration team.
