After catching 32 Metreys in 2024 and 28 in 2025, Dhipirri has turned it on again in 2026 – with 17 entries into Dhipirri’s Metre Club during the Run-off so far and it’s only mid-May. And they’ve predominately all been BIG Barramundi… with the average length coming in at 106.2cm – up from 102.6cm in 2025 and 101.3cm in 2024.
We’ve also had the biggest Dhipirri Barra ever caught at the Lodge since we opened in 2013 – with a monster 119cm caught in April.
We will keep adding any future Metreys to this list as they happen. You can also see our available boats for the rest of 2026 below the Barra.
Two more Metreys have been caught to reach the 17 Metrey mark in mid-May – one angler asked for her photo and details not to be published after catching a 100cm Dhipirri Barra in April, and the other was caught by Dhipirri Guide Ryan Gwynne (a 105cm in May) but he’s got enough photos with huge Dhipirri Barra above already 🙂

Please see the 2nd Half Availabilities graphic above and below for available boats – Refer to Key in graphic – graphic was updated on 11 May 2026*.
